Layaway order
'La Maison De Ces Garcons' offers layaway to a variety of payment methods of customers.
This payment method is available for all our merchandise, but the minimum order for the layaway is USD $300.00
excluding shipping charge.
1. Merchandise may be held in the layaway plan for a minimum of 14 days to a maximum of 90 days,
with 3 or 4 installment payments.
1) If you should choose 3 installment plan, the total amount will be divided into 3 payments
- 34% for the first payment and 33% for the following payments.
The initial payment is due with the order.
The second and final payments are due on the same day of the following two months.
For example:
For an order placed on May 15, the first payment is due on May 15,
the second June 15 and the final payment on July 15.
2) If you choose 4 installments, the total order will be equally divided into 25% of the total order
and the initial payment is due with the order; rest of the payments are due on the same day
of the following three months.
3) 'Maison' also offer layaway with two installment to customers,
with the length of the layaway adjusted to 2 ~ 4 weeks.
2. The maximum number of layaway installments is FOUR.
3. You may make additional payments as you wish.
If you payoff earlier than the payment schedule, the merchandise will be shipped according
to the production schedule (Usually 4 weeks from the final payment.)
* Caution:
1) A layaway order cannot be cancelled after the initial payment.
Only in special circumstances such as death, La Maison will acccept returned merchandise
and issue a refund "less shipping charges and a 25% restocking fee."
2) We do not send bills for layaway plan. We will only contact you if payment is late or missed.
3) If you choose 'Wire Transfer', the initial payment should be made within 7 days.
Layaway order process
1. In the second step (payment method page) of the three step checkout process,
choose 'Layaway' as the payment mothod.
No actual payment is made in this step if you choose 'Layaway'.
2. At the end of the checkout process, please have your order number handy and move to the next step.
(An order confirmation will be sent to you with order number as well.)
3. Click 'Gift Certificate(layaway)' under 'Categories' in the left side of the screen.
It is a bit inconvenient here, but bear with us. We will make this process simpler as soon as possible.
Divide the total amount according to your layaway plan - 34% for 3 installments or 25% for 4 installments.
In the 'Gift Certificate(layaway)' page, using 0.01 USD and 1 USD, you should make the initial payment.
For example:
If your total were USD 530 and chose 3 installments, USD 176.67 would be the 1st payment.
You should click on 0.01 USD and change the number of unit to 67 and click on 'Add this to my Cart'.
Then click on 1 USD and change the unit to 176 and once again click on 'Add this to my Cart'.
4. Click on 'Go to Checkout' and make payment using PayPal or Wire transfer.
5. At the bottom of the page, you should write your layaway order number in
'Special Instructions or Comments About Your Order'box.
6. Repeat this process each time you make installment payment.
